I have already left Oakland, California. I am now in Minneapolis, Minnesota. I am staying in a hotel and looking for an apartment.

     Everything was planned out, but when I met my international student advisor and she recommended me not to go back to China because I have a risk not be able to retain my visa and come back to the U.S even I have a job offer on my hand. I just can't risk the future of my career for exchange a three-week vacation in China.
     I know it is not the vacation, but my friends and family that is important to me. But the job at the Walker is such a important start of my career, I just simply couldn't take the risk.

     I hope you--my dear friends can understand my difficult situation.

Things are getting more and more clear these days. I have a rough idea what I am going to do in the next four weeks.  Now, I am just looking for cheap fly tickets and tying up all the loose ends. Hopefully, I will be packing soon.
